Description
The domed Janški Hill, at 792 metres the highest peak in the Jansko hills and the municipality of Ljubljana, is a well-known excursion destination. The hillside below the mountain lodge above the village of Janče with the Church of St Nicholas is a popular toboggan run for families with children in winter. When visibility is good, it is an extremely scenic peak, with views of the nearby Posavje hills, the Alps and even Snežnik.
