Description
The mighty monument to the fallen in the National Liberation Struggle, the work of sculptor Boris Kalin and architect Boris Kobe, overlooks the town from Drče. In the tomb, along with many partisans from Vrhnika, rest the writer Karel Grabeljšek – Gaber (1906-1985) and the poet Ivan Rob (1908-1943). In fine weather, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view over Vrhnika.
