Description
The Church of St George is one of the oldest churches in the present deanery of Rogatec. Historical sources mention that before 1487 there was already a branch of St. Jernej in Rogatec. The present church has been built and changed its appearance through various building and renovation interventions until today. It consists of a rectangular nave with a pyramidal roof tower, a narrower and lower presbytery and the chapel of St Lucy added to the north side of the nave.
